Post arrived today, it contained the last package from Amazon.co.uk of my Christmas Shopping (ho ho ho!) but no frikkin' newton =]
I had it shipped via USPS "Global Priority" which specifies 4-6 days delivery to Europe.. Now that was on last wednesday. I'm kind of thinking that "Global Priority" means it has priority over normal mail.. Except that nowadays so much mail is sent by Fedex and UPS etc, that in reality thats probably only priority over 2% of all other mail arriving about 1 day earlier... Or maybe the priority doesn't manifest itself in delivery time more that it gets to ride "shotgun" in the post van or whatever.. I don't know! I want my Newt =]
At the moment the only reason I'm in London and not chilling with my family in Rowhedge is because of that one package.. Man thats annoying.. Seriously... New levels of annoyance here =]
I've been working on backgrounds for Avi's Backdrop so I get what is pretty much a Newton background picture.. At the moment I've compiled most of the greatest ever Calvin & Hobbes Christmas Strips into easily transfereable Newton Books which Avi's BD understands.. I'll post them here later for download but in order to do that I need to test them which requires, you guessed it, my Newton.
